New House in Mayfield

This house has been designed specifically for the client who works from home. It is designed to be sustainable and is constructed from SIPS – structural insulated panel system. This enabled the contractor to fully erect the building and make it water tight within a fortnight. The benefits include lower construction and running costs and a property that was faster to construct.

The main space is open plan and double height incorporating the kitchen, dining, living and work space. Each of the children’s bedrooms has a sleeping platform to maximise floor area and take advantage of the ceiling height. Being single level enables all the main spaces to open onto the garden.
